Marble Bench Cut from a Single Block

The Onda bench has been designed by Paolo Ulian and Moreno Ratti for UpGroup. It has been created from a single block of Arabescato white marble. This gorgeous looking bench was born with the desire to optimise the cut.

“The design of this outdoor bench is born primarily by the desire to optimize the cut on the starting block of marble.

The profile of the “Onda” modules that make up the bench in fact allows to cut them in sequence from the same block minimizing the scraps.”
